This scrumptious apple crumble is a tasty treat to warm you up on a cool autumn evening.
Preheat oven to 180C, Gas Mk4.
Put the apples, lemon juice and 4tbsp water in a small saucepan and cook over a low heat for 5 minutes until the apples start to soften; stir occasionally.
Stir in the caster sugar, sultanas and cinnamon and spoon into a shallow ovenproof dish.
Put the flour and Pure in a bowl and rub together with your fingertips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Stir in the oats, demerara sugar and almonds and then sprinkle over the apples.
Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
Tips: Apple Crumble is best when eaten straight from the oven but will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
