A light, tasty treat. No one will ever guess these buns are dairy and egg free.

DAIRY AND EGG FREE BUNS

 100 g PURE SPREAD
 100 g CASTER SUGAR
 175 g SELF RAISING FLOUR
 1 tsp BAKING POWDER
 1 tsp BICARBONATE OF SODA
 75 ml SOYA MILK

Preheat oven to 200°C/gas mark 6. Place bun cases into a bun tin.

Beat the Pure spread with the caster sugar until light and fluffy.

Sift the flour and the baking powder together.

Dissolve the bicarbonate of soda in the soya milk.

Add soya milk and fold in flour, alternately into creamed mixture. Mix well.

Spoon mixture evenly between bun cases, place on oven and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Decorate with sifted icing sugar.
